Automatic doors for a sustainable future

In the industrial sector, each industry has specific operational requirements. An industrial plant with continuous production processes and specific requirements in certain environments is not the same as a logistics centre with high goods traffic. Therefore, choosing the right high-speed door optimises safety, sectorisation and the overall productivity of the facility.
Industry: security and operational continuity
In industrial environments, the priority is clear: to guarantee the continuity of the production process without compromising safety. Manusa has fast roll-up doors and self-repairing doors specifically designed to divide areas and provide safety in industrial environments with very demanding conditions.
On the one hand, roll-up doors divide areas with heavy people and machinery traffic, while also compartmentalising areas with very demanding sealing requirements. On the other hand, self-repairing doors have a system of side rails. In the event of minor impacts, the curtain comes out of the rail guides to prevent it from breaking. When the door is raised, it re-enters the guides, leaving the door operational again. Some of the most interesting models for industry are:
-
Reinforced steel high-speed roll-up door: the best solution for areas with heavy vehicle, machinery and people traffic, such as warehouses or loading bays. Its compact size allows it to be installed in industrial buildings to divide different work areas.
-
Self-repairing door: this type of door stands out for its built-in self-repair system, which means that in the event of minor impacts with the door, the curtain comes out of the rail guides, preventing it from breaking. When the door is raised, this guide is reinserted into the side guides, leaving the door operational.
-
High-speed door with EI120 fire curtain: combines all the advantages of a high-speed door with fire protection. It integrates two doors in the same head, freeing up space on the sides, which increases storage capacity. In a normal situation, it acts as a self-repairing model and, in the event of a fire alarm, an EI120 fire curtain is deployed, guaranteeing resistance to flames, smoke and gases for at least 120 minutes.
-
High-speed door for cold rooms down to -30º: divides areas with extreme atmospheric conditions where the maximum temperature difference is 25ºC and the maximum ambient humidity is 30%. Designed with a 3-layer curtain (2 layers of PVC + 1 layer of foam), it guarantees proper functioning in freezer rooms and reduces frost formation. This model is also available in a self-repairing door version.
-
High-speed door for automated production lines: available with various types of curtains, which include, among other qualities, resistance to welding spatter, cuts from sheet metal handling, and impact resistance from parts. Its high opening and closing speed ensures minimum cycle time, offering high performance, reliability, and safety for workers.
-
High-speed roll-up door for ATEX zones: this model allows explosive atmospheres up to type II 2G to be compartmentalised for the handling of flammable gases, vapours or combustible dust. In addition to covering a wide range of openings, it stands out for its versatility in adapting to the needs of each project, thanks to the different configurations it offers.
Logistics: agility and high performance
The logistics sector is characterised by peaks in activity, seasonal campaigns and a constant flow of goods. Some of the most interesting models for logistics are:
-
Self-repairing high-speed door: an innovative solution that adapts to any high-traffic space, such as goods loading and unloading areas. It also includes a self-repair system in the event of impact with the door.
-
Aluminium high-speed roll-up door for indoor areas: a compact and functional solution with high performance in terms of safety and technology. It is ideal for partitioning or dividing indoor areas. Its lacquered aluminium structure and minimal space requirements for installation make it the ideal solution for internal enclosures without draughts.
-
Stackable high-speed door: designed for intensive use in large exterior openings, thanks to its high resistance to draughts. Its airtightness allows different work areas to be isolated, enabling industrial buildings to be conditioned, divided and climate-controlled for improved comfort for workers. This model is widely used in the food industry.
-
Self-repairing door for storage areas: operates in environments down to -5ºC thanks to a heating system and special protection against humidity, among other solutions. Ideal for sectors such as food and pharmaceuticals.
